Fall into Fashion

Happy Monday to All!

After that major heat wave last week, I think it's fair to say that we're all in a better mental state. That just wasn't fun for anyone! Yesterday, Julia and I took a trip to the beautiful North End. I love that part of Boston; it's in its own little world. We took a stroll through Government Center as well and spent some time by the wharf. We happened to walk by a bench where an older couple was sitting together and they stopped us and asked if we would take a picture of them. They were so adorable I wanted to cry. The gentleman held his wife close and in that moment they were so happy and they looked so in love. All I could think about was the rarity of that. It isn't everyday you see two people together, both with the same expression of bliss, knowing that the happiness is derived from being with one another. I hope to be blessed with the same experience someday.

Moving on to the style choices. I was so excited that it had cooled off yesterday; the weather was perfect. I chose to indulge in a sweater, scarf, leggings, and combat boots. I love layering for fall and this outfit was so comfortable to wear out just to walk around and window shop. There are so many options with this type of outfit and that's why I love it. Not to mention, it doesn't look like it took hours to put together!

First, let's take a look at our little movie for yesterday's look! The beat of this song (Pompeii by Bad Blood) really matches up well with the pictures; I hope you like it!!

Now, lets look at some of the photography!

Green textured sweater; Nordstrom. Black leather panel leggings; Forever 21. Black cross body with studs; Steve Madden. Floral scarf; unknown designer. Brown leather combat boots; White Mountain.

I'm so happy to be able to wear fall outfits now, hopefully the weather doesn't change all too much. I didn't focus too much on my hair, just blow dried it using my fingers to give it texture and volume and then touched it up with my straightener. My makeup was really simple with a bronze and gold hue to it. I used my Naked2 palette from Urban Decay and used my bronzer in the crease to add dimension. I only used mascara and kept my face pretty easy, just a fading blush from the tops of my cheekbones to the apples of my cheeks.

I hope you readers are just as excited as I am for both fall and the fashion that comes with it! As always, thank you for reading and make sure to like the page on Facebook!! Click here to do that :)

Thank you for spending some time with us here!

Greyfully Yours,
