By Golly, Miss Molly!

Hello There!

Today is going to be a GOOD day! I can feel it! For those who are feeling otherwise, keep your head up! Sooo, today we have a special guest! Most of you probably remember, my younger sister Molly! She was on the blog back at the beginning of fall in Minty Fresh! To see that post, click HERE! She also is one of my photographers! Molly is so talented in so many ways. She never ceases to surprise me with her grace, kindness and intelligence. The week before Thanksgiving break I was lucky enough to have her come and visit me at school! We have been wanting to something like this for a while and this seemed like the perfect time to do it! We had such an amazing weekend.

Friday, I hopped on the T and went to pick up Molly at the train station. Later we went to dinner and then went to Newbury Street, one of the best parts of Boston! We got some really good shopping done! Later that night we wanted to grab a froyo from Pinkberry and happened to run into our grandparents! Saturday morning we got up and got ready for a long day that Julia and I planned in honor of Molly coming. We started in hair and make-up and then picked out our outfits and wah-lah! Off we went and we surprised Molly with a trip to the Aquarium! That was so much fun!! Later we walked around the North End and did some photos and some video! It's so funny, Molly and Julia looked so much alike!! They could be sisters as well, LOL! After we were done, we headed back to school for dinner and then changed for our night activities! On the T we were again, off to the Fanueil Hall Christmas Tree lighting! After that we went ice skating on Frog Pond! On our way, it even began snowing! It was the PERFECT night! We had such a ball!

Molly was wearing her favorite dark wash jeans with a chambray shirt. She then layered under it a black and brown striped sweater along with a bright green vest and a white bubble necklace. She wore brown riding boots as well and carried her navy blue Longchamp! For her hair I used a 1" curling wand to create retro waves in her beautiful blonde hair. Her makeup was neutral for the eyes, a slight smokey eye and espresso eyeliner to bring out her blue eyes! I contoured her face and added a nice bronzy blush to her cheeks. She looked absolutely beautiful!!

For my outfit I tried to compliment Molly's outfit as well! I wore a simple camel colored V-neck sweater with a hunter green skirt. I paired this with tights, purple boot socks and my favorite combat boots. I then added a chic fur and suede vest to add some texture. My hair was simply curled and my make-up was kept simple as well. I wore my everyday face routine and a neutral eye. I decided to use black eyeliner on just the outer half of my top lid just to break it up. I love this look!!

I was so lucky to have Molly here and I know Julia feels the same way!! She is such a kind spirit. Sometimes, she's the one teaching me a few lessons on how to be a better person. At sixteen, Molly is very mature and has a great outlook on life. She is always smiling! Over the years she has accomplished so much and recently, she made Honor Roll at school!! I am so incredibly proud of her and her accomplishments. If there is anything that someone could learn from Molly, it would be to keep your head up. I'm always amazed at her joy and how she does her best to smile everyday. I have seen Molly grow in so many ways in just the last few months. She is an amazing person and I am so blessed to call her my sister!!
