A Rose Is Still A Rose

Good Afternoon Everyone!

Today is a beautiful day! Before Julia and I go out to shoot again today I wanted to post! Over break, my mom found a couple of pieces for my wardrobe. She found them through some of her friends at "Sorelle," a unique dealer at "Vintage Thymes." This awesome monthly vintage market is found at 61 Endicott Street, Norwood, MA in the Winsmith Mill. This coat featured in this post, vintage Lord and Taylor, was one of them! I was so excited when I saw this coat, it is so beautiful and bold. Thank God it fit me perfectly because I would've been so disappointed! Take a look at this stunning piece!

Coat; Lord and Taylor. Ivory Blouse; Forever21. Flare Jeans; Cult. Shoes; Zara.

The material is gorgeous and the colors are even better! It is so vibrant and different from anything I have ever owned! I paired it with an ivory blouse that has soft ruffles on the front and a bow. I love this shirt and I think it compliments the coat well! I chose to wear a flare jean to go with the vintage look.

For my hair I went with a very "blown back" look. I actually did my hair like this for a prom I went to last year only a little more done up. I sectioned my hair in two sections. I pulled the lower half into a messy bun and secured it with two bobby pins. I then curled the top half with a 3/4" curling iron and pinned each curl randomly on my head. The result was this look! My make-up was done by one of my good friends, Rachel Aiello. She used the Naked3 palette by Urban Decay to create a neutral smokey eye with a hint of purple. I also wore a nude, peachy lip. She was such an angel to do this for me and I looooved this look.

This shoot was so much fun, we went to Harvard Medical and took our pictures there. It is a gorgeous scenery and we love how these photos came out! We hope you do too!
