Easy, Breezy, Casual

Hello Everyone!

This is my last blog post that will be set in Boston for a little while seeing as I am moving home for the summer on Monday! I'm very sad that this year is over, there have been so many memories made. However, I can't wait to see what comes next. Here's to new things!

So, for today's outfit, it's a little taste of my casual side. As this week of finals and papers was approaching, my stress level was increasing. Therefore, that is the perfect time for an oversized light sweater. Recently, I picked this one up at H&M. I'm always amazed by some of the pieces that they have. Next, I paired that with my black skinny jeans.

Next, I layered my distressed denim jacket from J. Crew over the sweater. This pulls the look together while keeping it very casual. For other accessories I chose my brown leather cross body bag by The Sak. I also wore this gorgeous statement necklace that really brings some glam and elegance into the over all look. Pieces like this with others that are casual will keep you from feeling too dressed down or too dressed up. It's a nice combo!

As for my hair, I lightly gave it a blow dry and kept it pretty messy. For part of the shoot, as you can see, I had my hair pulled up into a low bun. Either style goes really well with this look! My make-up was very easy and had an over all pinky glow for spring. On my lips I'm wearing "Please Me Matte" by M.A.C. I balanced the lip with a very light face routine. I didn't want to do a full foundation face because, like I said, keep it simple.

Outfits like this are awesome for so many occasions and as much as I love getting dressed up, I love feeling effortless and comfortable. I hope you enjoyed this look! Let me know what you think and some things you would like to see for the summer!

Greyfully Yours,
K
