Indian Summer

Shorts and a t-shirt… In the middle of October? What is wrong with this picture?

These past couple of days have been super humid and hot; which is surprising since its definitely time for fall in New England. The leaves are still falling and changing colors, but the air has lost it's crisp touch. Hopefully this Indian Summer doesn't stick around for too long.

Make sure to check out the YouTube video to go along with this outfit! Don't forget to subscribe as well!

These leather shorts are a favorite purchase from Zara and I love that I can wear them on these sticky days and I can't wait to pair them with tights and a bulky sweater! With them I paired a simple t-shirt from Forever 21. Over the ensemble I kept the black and white constant with this great striped vintage overcoat. I purchased this along with a matching dress that is from the 1950's at a vintage shop over at SoWa open market in South Boston. I also wore my Nike sneakers to keep things fresh and fun (not to mention comfortable!) I brought along this cute bag that is another thrifting find!

I love that this outfit is versatile. I felt casual, but ready for any trendy opportunity! If you're not to sure about wearing those sneakers with your outfit, try a black bootie or a fun colored flat! The good thing about black and white is it goes with anything and allows you room to have fun!

Hopefully next week I'll be able to show you a "real" fall outfit! Until then, keep things simple and chic and don't let the heat get to you!
Greyfully Yours,
