It's that Shania Twain song blasting, you're singing into a hairbrush and you just feel so… feminine!

"Man shirt, short skirt…" For this outfit, I chose to go with "man shirt, short sweater". To get this look, you can search for a collared shirt such as this one at local thrift stores for a great price. Mine is a vintage men's tuxedo shirt by Molnar. I love the fit of it and it's comfortable while looking pulled together. With the weather cooling off, I layered this cropped waffle knit sweater over the shirt. This outfit looks great with skinny jeans too, but I went for the more casual look with worn in boyfriend jeans. I love all of the different textures and the different lengths too! If you don't own a cropped sweater, a regular v-neck knit will work as well. Just make sure it's a little bigger than the shirt you have on underneath so you don't look or feel too bunched up.
My black fringe leather bag was a great way to spice up the outfit and add even more texture! The gold detailing is really fun too!
When wearing boyfriend jeans that hit the ankle, try rolling them up a little bit and pairing them with an ankle bootie. This helps to lengthen your leg and give you some height. The little peek of skin just above the shoe also helps in the flow of the outfit. Try rolling up your sleeves as well. These tricks aid in you not looking swamped in the outfit and help in keeping things pulled together.
We are never exclusively meant to wear just women's clothes. From Shania Twain to Carolina Herrera, making a statement in something menswear is the ultimate feminine touch to any outfit. Finding the right size in a men's crisp shirt such as this one is an awesome investment and it's all how you wear it! The shirt paired with the cropped sweater is a great trend that can carry you from fall into winter and even until spring!
