There's never anything wrong with a little sparkle, shimmer or shine.
When it comes to holiday party season, you always want to look your best without trying too hard. Not to mention, you want to be comfortable because we all know that there will be cookies at said parties. When it comes to looking for the right outfit, you don't need to go out and buy new everything! Try and use what you have for at least part of the outfit! Hopefully everyone has a simple black skirt, like mine in the pictures. This one is so perfect with its pleats, so it's very flattering AND you can totally eat as many cookies as you want! You can pair anything with this skirt, day or night. If you have an evening party, go for the "Wow" factor. Check out my gorgeous sequin top.
This is what I like to call the "Do It All" top. You can dress it up like I did here or you can wear it with a great pair of jeans for those holiday cocktails with your girlfriends. Trust me, they are going to want to copy your style. Is there such a thing as a Christmas Mermaid? If there is, I totally felt like one with this top on. I paired the outfit with a statement cheetah shoe to keep things fun and flirty. I also brought along my leather quilted bag from Bloomingdale's.
I curled my hair for this look to pull it all together. For my make up, I went with a bright pink lip and a natural looking smokey eye.
The fun sparkly top and pleated skirt are both vintage items from my good friends The House Of Findings! I am so happy to have worked with them for the Holiday series this year! Do not forget to check back next week for the final look! It's a jaw dropper!
