My Lazy Skin Care Routine

As someone whose skin has really morphed into all different versions over the years, I am learning that less is more with my skin. I would say I began breaking out more in college compared to high school (probably due to my poor college diet), which was really frustrating. In the last few months, I have had to change a few elements of my routine because my skin was so dry and was dying for a change! I love how quick, yet effective my routine has been lately. Read below for my *lazy* skin care regimen!

1. Clinique Liquid Face Wash

My dad was the one to encourage my sisters and I to use Clinique years ago. I still use it and it's not harsh on my skin!

This product has really changed my skin. I use this after I wash my face by pressing (not rubbing) onto my face. It has not only helped my dry winter skin, but has enhanced complexion and tones some of the redness! Pro Tip: Use 2-3 drops before your moisturizer in the morning for an extra dewy glow. At night, I use 4 drops to really hydrate my skin overnight.

I love the gel formula during this time of year. It really does moisturize for an extended amount of time and makes my makeup go on smoother.

Love this for when my lips are dry or chapped. Great to do before you go to bed and then with a lip conditioner or chapstick.

5. Armani Cleansing Moisturizer

This is the most expensive item in my routine and honestly, I would buy a less expensive product next time, but this does work well and has lasted me FOREVER. It takes off all of my makeup and leaves me feeling fully cleansed. I used to religiously use makeup wipes and I will never go back!

Those are my core components of my skin care regimen! I sometimes add a few other things based on my skin that day, but these are the essentials! I would say the biggest changes I saw were when I stopped using wipes to take off my makeup and when I started using Jojoba oil! What are your favorite products or steps to your skin care? I am always open to trying new things :)
